Department of Automation and Computer Integrated Technologies

Department of Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies was founded in 2000. The teaching staff of the department consists of both experienced, highly qualified experts (2 - doctors, professors, 5 - Ph.D., associate professors) and promising young teachers and graduate students.
Head of the department is a scientist – Ilya Furman, who is known in Ukraine and abroad – as a specialist in the field of architecture and application technology of programmable controllers for industrial use , Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor and Excellent in the field of Education of Ukraine, academician of the Academy of Higher Education Sciences of Ukraine, who has extensive experience in scientific research and introduction of modern automated technological complexes in manufacturing. He is the initiator and author of the development of the work program and teaching methodology of new discipline "Microprocessor control devices." During the last 5 years 13 books with the stamp of Ministry of Education, 7 manuals, 75 articles, was prepared and published, 87 patents for inventions Ukraine was received, him personally and together with the lecturer. During this period at the Department a doctoral and 6 candidate dissertation was defended.
The department trains specialists in 5.050202 - "Automatization and Computer-Integrated Technologies", and in two specialties: 8.05020201 - "Automated management of technology process and 8.05020202 - "Computer-integrated manufacturing processes and production."
On the department such disciplines are teaches: theory of information, the theory of automatic control, the theoretical foundations of automation, identification and modeling of technological objects, programming and algorithmic languages, programming of real-time systems, computers and computer technology, computer technics and organization computations, computer graphics, microprocessors and software automation, microprocessor control devices and systems, Microprocessor devices of agricultural technology, engineering automation, automated process control systems (PCS), fundamentals of computer-aided design (CAD), design PCS agricultural production, computer tools of precision farming, design of digital devices on FPGA, research methodology, theory of digital machines, patent and intellectual property, information technology in energy and industrial production, object-oriented programming, fundamentals of fuzzy control, neural systems and networks.
The department has modern material and technical base, which consists of training laboratories: Fundamentals of automation, programmable microprocessor control devices, integrated computer technology, on computer modeling and design, and has a modern lecture room equipped with multimedia interactive whiteboard and projector.
All laboratories equipped with modern computer technology and industrial automation, namely 50 personal computers that are integrated into a local network and connected to the Internet; different peripherals, programmable logic controllers (PLC) for industrial use of various firms.
Material and technical support of the Department allows using computer technology in the learning process. Almost all coursework and projects, students perform using computers, namely engineering calculations with the help of MS Exel, the study of automatic control using MatLab, design of a set of documentation for electrical and automation systems using COMPASS.
Department continuously maintains professional relationships with leading companies and universities of. Kharkov: Kharkov instrument plant of Shevchenko, Department of Computer Systems and Networks of National Aerospace University, specialized computer systems of Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport, relevant departments of Kharkov University of Air Force, as well as the departments of National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (m. Kyiv ), National University of Food Technologies (m. Kyiv), Poltava National Technical University. Yuryi Kondratuk, Kirovohrad National Technical University.
The main directions of research department are: research and the creation of highly integrated computer technology and process control systems of technological production; development of theory building and architecture; research and creation of highly-reliability microcontroller and microprocessor controlling devices for mobile and stationary agricultural units; research and creation of computer-aided design of parts and components of machines, complete electrical power systems and integrated PCS production.
Department cooperates with the Production Association "Myronivsky Breadproduct" (http://www.mhp.com.ua), where students can take practical training and undergraduate practice with following employment.
The department also maintains contacts with leading firms-developers of automation of industrial facilities Ukraine - electrical company "Prism Electric» (http://www.prisma-electric.com), STP "KOTLOЭNERHOPROM", LLC "ЭLEKTROYNZHYNYRYNH" (http://www.eleng.com.ua/), LLC "Vostokэlektromontazh" and others.

He graduated from the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute in 1968. From 1970 to 1991 he worked in the Research Institute VNDITELEKTROMASH (m. Kharkiv) as the lead mechanician, director of laboratory, director of the department designer and director of the office and engaged in researches and development of devices and systems of engineering management program. In 1976 he defended his candidate, and in 1989 - his doctoral dissertation.
Since 1991 he is a Professor of Cybernetics department, and from 2000 is a head of the department of automation and computer-integrated technologies.
In 1992 the title of professor specializing in "Elements and devices of computer facilities and control systems." was awarded to IA Furman.
Professor AA Furman developed a basic theory of building parallel logic controllers, controlled by the flow of inputs and programmed on technology user languages. Under his leadership, first in the world industrial designs parallel logic controllers were developed and put into production. He actively participates in conferences and symposiums, has more than 200 scientific papers, 8 of which were published in foreign journals, 10th edition of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and CIS countries, 8 books, has 27 textbooks and teaching aids recommended by the Ministry of Education, 20 copyright certificates and patent.
In 2000 IO Furman was elected as a member of the research council of the American Biographical Institute (ABI), and in 2001 - Academician of the Academy of higher education Sciences of Ukraine.
In 2004 awarded by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
In 2005 Furman IO won the regional competition "Higher education Kharkiv region - the best names." In 2005 was awarded an "Excellence in Education of Ukraine".
In 2006 IO Furman awarded the prize of Yaroslav the Wise by the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Higher Education awarded.
In 2013 awarded the charter by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Furman Professor IA pays great attention to the education of scientific staff Only he prepared 9 candidates and 1 doctor of technical sciences. During the period of work at the Department of Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies has prepared 4 candidates and 1 doctor of technical sciences.

He graduated from the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute in 1978on specialty "flight dynamics and control." Since 1988 Candidate of Technical Sciences.
Currently working as a professor of the department and prepares to protect his doctoral thesis.
 
Bovchalyuk Stanislav Yaroslavovych
 
Associate Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences.
 
In 1993 he graduated from the Kharkiv technical school of medical equipment (WHO), on specialty "Maintenance and operation of electronic medical equipment." In 1999 he graduated from the Faculty of Automation and Instrumentation of Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute "Specialized computer systems".
In 2008 he defended his thesis on "Models, methods and tools of information technology of parallel logic control objects railway automation" in the National Aerospace University named after Zhukovsky "HAI" and received the title of Candidate of Technical Sciences. He has 42 publications, including 2 monographs and 7 patents.
He has worked in KNTUA named after Petro Vasilenko since 2000 as an assistant, senior lecturer and assistant professor of automation and computer-integrated technologies. He teaches subjects such as: "Theory of automatic control", "Theoretical Foundations of automation" and "Means of automation."
From January 2009 is deputy director of Education and Research Institute of Energy and Computer Technology.
 
Koshman Sergey Alexandrovych

In 1995 graduated from the Glukhiv Agricultural College named after SA Kovpaka on specialty "Electrification and Automation of Agriculture".
In 2000 he graduated from Kharkiv State University of Agriculture on specialty "Energy agricultural production."
Since 2001 he has worked in KNTUA Petro Vasilenko as a senior lecturer of department Akita.
In 2005 he graduated from post-graduated study KNTUA named P. Vasilenko.
In 2010 he defended his thesis in NTU "HPI" on specialty 05.13.05 - Computer systems and components on the theme: "Highly specialized computer data processing means on the basis of calculation of residual classes." In 2012 he was awarded the rank of associate professor Department of Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies.
Since 2010 he has worked in KNTUA named P. Vasilenko as assistant professor of automation and computer-integrated technologies.
He has over 60 scientific papers, 30 patents for invention and a utility model.
Research interests: development of methods and means of processing on the basis of code structures in the class of excesses.
 
MIROSHNYK Alexander Aleksandrovych

In 2004 he graduated from Kharkiv State University of Agriculture on specialty electrical engineer.
In 2007 he graduated from post-graduate study and in 2009 he defended his thesis and received the degree of candidate of technical sciences. Since 2011 is an assistant professor.
It has 60 scientific papers, 22 patents, 2 monographs, 1 textbook, 1 user and 34 scientific papers in professional journals.
 
ZAHUMENNA Ekaterina Viktorovna

In 2007 she graduated from Kharkiv State University of Agriculture named after Petro Vasilenko and received a bachelor's degree with honors. In 2014 she defended her thesis and received the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences, from this year working as an associate professor. He is the author of 10 published scientific papers and has 13 patents. Performed at 7 scientific conferences.

He has 3 scientific publications, 1 patent for invention, 7 scientific and methodological works. Research interests: Automated process of control systems, microprocessor control system in power, means of data transmission in the industry.

Since 2001 has worked in KNTUA named P. Vasilenko as a teacher. He held the post of assistant and senior lecturer in Department of Akita.
He has 10 scientific publications.
Research interests: computer graphics, computer aided design, protection of computer programs and systems.

In 2005 he graduated from Kharkiv National Aerospace University on faculty rocket and space technology.
Since 2005 he has been working as an assistant in the Department in KNTUA named P. Vasilenko.
From 2005 to 2008 he studied at the post-graduated study in KNTUA named P. Vasilenko.
He has 12 scientific publications, 4 patents for invention, is co-author of scientific and methodical publications.
Research interests: Automated process control systems, task oriented programming language, technology, visual programming technology.
